We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Landscape Project Manager and Estimator to join our team. The Landscape Project Manager and Estimator will play a crucial role in analyzing project specifications, conducting site assessments, and providing accurate cost estimates for landscaping and hardscaping projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of landscaping practices, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to communicate effectively with clients and project teams.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Review and analyze project specifications, blueprints, and other relevant documents
  • Conduct site visits to assess the scope of work, soil conditions, and potential challenges
  • Prepare detailed and accurate cost estimates for landscaping projects, including materials, labor, equipment, and subcontractor costs
  • Utilize estimating software and tools to ensure precision in calculations
  • Collaborate with project managers, designers, and other stakeholders to develop comprehensive, competitive, and profitable bids
  • Obtain quotes and negotiate pricing with vendors and suppliers for materials and services
  • Build and maintain relationships with reliable suppliers to ensure cost effectiveness
  • Work closely with project managers to develop and manage project budgets
  • Monitor project costs throughout the construction phase and identify cost-saving opportunities
  • Present cost estimates and bids to clients in a clear and understandable manner
  • Address client inquiries and concerns regarding project costs
  • Maintain accurate records of all project estimates, bids, and related documentation
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and industry standards
  • Regularly inspect our equipment, facilities, and work vehicles

Qualifications/Skills:

  • Excellent analytical and mathematical skills
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in estimating
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
  • Strong knowledge of plant types, plant care, hardscaping, and masonry

Education and Experience Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience as a Landscape Estimator or in a similar role within the landscaping industry
  • Strong knowledge of landscaping materials, techniques and industry trends
  • Proficiency in QuickBooks and Landscape Pro
