Landscape Manager
Stone Hill Landscape is a landscape and hardscape business in New Haven county. It is a family-run business that has been in operation for over 15 years. Stone Hill Landscape also has a new sister company, Bethany Farm and Nursery.
We are looking for a dedicated and organized manager to join our team. As the general manager of the landscape division, you will be in charge of 3-4 crews that handle maintenance and installations. This position will require you to communicate with customers, coordinate schedules, produce estimates, and monitor the crews in the field. The ideal candidate will have a passion for landscaping, a strong work ethic, friendly client relationships, and the ability to thrive in a team- oriented environment.
Job Responsibilities:
- Responsible for effectively providing the crews with what they need
- Ensure work is completed according to drawings, company expectations, and customer needs
- Responsible for monitoring job site progression on one or more job sites
- Facilitate effective communication between customers, management, and crews
- Responsible for logging and tracking job site progression on various software to include, but not limited to, SingleOps, QuickBooks, and email
- Responding to sales leads and upselling to recurring clients
Work Hours and Benefits:
- Full Time
- $28-35 per hour, depending on experience
- Paid Holidays

Qualifications/Skills:
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team setting
- Advanced knowledge of horticulture practices
- Physical stamina and the ability to lift and move heavy objects
- Must speak English, bilingual is a plus
Education and Experience Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 5 years experience in either of the following fields: landscaping, horticulture, heavy equipment operation, site management, hardscape, estimating, or project management
- Ability to perform moderately physical demanding tasks in various weather conditions
- Strong attention to detail, self sufficient, and a willingness to learn
